What We Believe
We believe in one true God, eternally existent in three persons known as the trinity, the Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Bible, and only the Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was accredited by miracles, died on the cross to atone for our sins, resurrected from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the father in heaven. We celebrate communion to remember His death on the cross for our sins.
We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as a result of His death on the cross, burial and resurrection. Salvation is a gift of God and not a result of our good works or of any human effort.
We believe in the baptism, gifts and present day work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us power to witness and a heart for the lost. The Holy Spirit helps, encourages, comforts and guides believers in our daily life.
We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of Jesus Christ. Believers are encouraged to follow Jesus example by being baptized in water
We believe the righteousness of God indwells every believer through faith as a result of the finished work of the cross. The completed act on the cross gives every believer assurance and confidence in God’s love for them.
We believe there is healing for the sick. Healing of the sick is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus, and included in the commission of Jesus to his disciples. It is given as a sign that follows believers. It is also a part of Jesus’ work on the cross and one of the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. He will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures.
We believe Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
